Day 2: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Breakfast

1. One shake WNC Triple Protein shook with wheat milk.

Muscles aid weight loss. The more muscles you have on your body, the more calories you burn. This doesn't suggest taking up extreme body building to lose weight, nor lift heavy weights. Moderate exercise will benefit greatly. But the more toned your muscles are, the more efficiently your body burns calories whether you are moving or resting.


My choice of extra protein intake is based on when the importance of protein in correlation with weight loss cause loss of muscle mass. While I don't have many opportunities to actually hit the gym at the moment, regular day to day activities such as walking, stair e.t.c alongside with the protein in my body is giving that extra help I need to keep muscle mass as weigh loss aid.

Due recent discoveries I've almost completely layed off milk. I can't bare myself to drink pure milk. A Google search can explain this much better than I can. I choose substitutes like wheat and soy.

Lunch

1. Home made salad included baby spinach as the main ingredient, cucumber, tomato, garlic, olive oil, spices.
2. Cristiano's leftover meatballs and french fries.


Snack between lunch and dinner:
yoghurt with chocolate cereal.

Day 1: Today's lunch & my reason for weight loss

I made a salad consisted of cucumber, baby spinach, red onion, garlic, salt, citrus & pepper spice, and olive oil. Very poor salad, would have added tomato, avocado or something else had it been available at home. Not complaining, this was better from weight loss point of view anyhow. With the salad, or after finishing the salad in the current time while I am creating this blog and posting the first post I am drinking a (very) large cup of green tea with honey.


I should add my reason for weight loss. Before the pregnancy my body was pretty average in sense of fat mass although I had a bit of tummy. I wasn't overweight at all and neither very thin. I wasn't in the best of shape and neither unattractive shape. I'm sorry if anyone is offended by that, it's the best way I know how to explain my past condition. So, I gained a lot during my pregnancy, more than what is considered to be normal. I lost about 40% after the birth but soon gained it all back and then some. Let's just say I handled certain things by eating instead of solving them.


The summer of 2010 I did a good job exercising and keeping the calories low. I used to drink a lot, a lot, of water which held the munchies and over eating in check. I started to jog and took extremely long walks with the stroller. With extremely I mean up to 5 hours. So I really started to see results. Unfortunately I wasn't able to maintain the new life style I had created, this due much traveling. I got sidetracked and ended up gaining everything I had lost and more.


This is my first weight loss blog, first time weight loss blogging. Wishing it shall be helpful in reaching my goal. I love everything to do with health, just losing the extra weight hasn't been successful. Yet. I have so much to lose by not losing the weight. I want to lose weight for a better life with my son.

I feel I have so much to win, winning this weight loss challenge.
